About Minnitaki Lake
Nestled on the serene shores of the Pickerel Arm on Minnitaki Lake, our lodge is the perfect escape for fishing and hunting enthusiasts. With an array of beautiful bays, rivers, and streams to explore, there’s something for everyone.
Minnitaki Lake is a large 46,500-acre (176.7) lake which is part of the English River system. Known for its deep cold waters and over 250 miles of shoreline make for prime fishing. With maximum depth of 159 feet in the central basin, with a 40 km long and 15 km wide. Bottom structures are a combination of rocky/sandy areas, submerged logs and significant depth varieties to keep everyone excited about making the next cast.
Walleye
The lake’s reefs and drop-offs are packed with walleye, prized for their light bite and incredible table quality. Early mornings and evenings are pure magic for landing them.
Northern Pike
Minnitaki’s weed beds and hidden bays are prime territory for trophy pike. These aggressive predators deliver powerful hits and unforgettable fights.
